Dr. Jagjit Kaur Singh
Jagjit Kaur Singh, Ph.D. is a professor of Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Leadership, Change Management, Organizational Psychology, and Critical Thinking and Problem Solving in North America and in India.
Specifically, her experience has been as professor at University of Calgary (1991-1997) and DeVry Institute of Technology (2003-2013) at Calgary, Canada, DeVry University Online (US) from 2013 to 2016, and as a visiting and founding professor of National Rail and Transportation University at Vadodara, India from 2018-2020. She was among the first few professors at DeVry Institute of Technology to teach courses in blended format (on-site and online combination) starting in 2005.
In addition, she proposed, developed, and managed English as a Second Language (ESL) program at DeVry Institute of Technology in Calgary, and was the Project Manager for the implementation of a new DeVry Online degree program for Canada. She has also conducted Faculty Development workshops at school and university settings in Kolkata.
At present, she is the principal of Little Angels School, a well-established kindergarten school in Kolkata and is thoroughly enjoying the experience. She is also raring to interest principals in the city to introduce an effective approach to teaching and assessing critical thinking and problem-solving mindset and practice in children at the school and college levels.
